How many times have you been using Sage 100 and thought, "This would be a lot easier and faster to do if the software would only ____________________!" And that thought is usually followed quickly by, "I'm sure I'm not the only one dealing with this. Hundreds (if not thousands!) of people just like me would benefit from my idea being put into action!" What you may not know is that you can submit your brilliant ideas directly to Sage's user community. By doing so, you give those hundreds of thousands of users just like you an opportunity to show Sage Software how needed your suggestions really are.
When logging in to Sage, most people - having lots of important things to get done - open up a module and blow right by the Information Center. However, towards the bottom of this screen is a very useful link that leads to a wealth of practical ideas in the Sage 100 Ideas Forum.
In fact, at the time of this writing, there were a total of 2,135 ideas submitted to the forum. Of those, 46 were planned for incorporation into future releases of the software, and 135 suggestions had already been added.
If you'd like to see if someone stole your idea before you even had time to think of it, you can visit the forum and search for it. Or you can just browse through the suggestions that people have already made and, by registering with an email address and password, vote for the ones you think Sage should take seriously. If your flash of inspiration is nowhere to be found, submit it to the forum and then lobby everyone you know to vote for it. If Sage sees enough demand for it, your idea may find it's way into a future version of the software, and all those people who have been clamoring for a solution just like that will be eternally grateful.
